A tribute to Barbieri Idro Italian POW 184412, who sadly passed away after an accident loading Muscadel barrel onto a train.

5 Years in oak barrels has honed this fortified Muscat de Frontignan into a finely polished cross between “port” and muscadel.  Raisin characters interleaved with citrus rind and dried apricot.
